My insurance company charged it to my collision coverage. Could it be covered under comprehensive instead?

Definitions of what is considered a Collision or Comprehensive claim can vary from one insurance company to another but since your vehicle turned on its side this would normally be considered a Collision claim with most insurers, including your own it would seem. With auto ins...

I live in Arizona and currently have Auto, Home and an Umbrella policy with American Family. I often rent a vehicle in Canada or may rent in the US and then drive across the border into Canada.
